What’s new for seo for Google Search? Well, the biggest change to Google’s algorithm would have to be the introduction of human site reviews as part of the so called “quality guidelines”. This is scary for people who rely on Google to make a living. What affect does this have on your website?
Let’s say you follow all webmaster guidelines set forth by Google. You feel you have a quality website and geared it towards benefiting readers (an informational site). You worked hard for years to build great back links and done everything correctly! Well with the addition of human reviewers you could find yourself removed from the top of search results and slapped with a penalty!
Some people believe this is Google trying make search results better. Some think this is an attack on search engine optimization. Google’s response is, well we don’t have one yet! They will say it is to improve the quality of their search results and the web in general. I think it’s a mixed bag including all of the above and more!
I personally think the results in the past two years have been generic at best. I never get the sites that contain the information I am looking for intentionally. Here is the fourth reason. Google wants informational sites that don’t compete with Google Adwords (their bread and butter)! Let’s not forget Google is a for profit company!
What can you do? Cave in to Google and run your site their way is one approach but their are no guarantees you will rank higher. Another is if you can’t beat em’ then join em’ and sign up for Adwords. I choose to run my site my way with my message. It’s my site after all! I decided long ago not to worry about Google they will not be top dog forever, especially if they keep going the direction they are headed!
Just another hurdle for a very bad economy! So focus on other search engines just as much and try to provide a quality site for your readers. It will all end up going the route of social media to market on the web anyway!

How to make the most of a Youtube account and channel/page setup process explained. If you have a Google account thn you are half way there! If you don’t have an account with Google, then you will need to take a minute and set one up. The setup is pretty self explanitory but make sure you get your links right so people can find your website.
You can make the most out of your YouTube page or channel by making a promotion video for your website. You can also do an instructional video or one that holds some benefit with the viewer. Make it a bit of a teaser so they go to your site for the full scoop. Don’t just give away the farm! the real goal is to get them to your website or to subscribe at a minimum.

Keys to writing better content. We all know that content is right up there with link building to rank higher in search engines. So here is what I do that may help you as well. Get a copy of Dragon Naturally Speaking. This will help you with the flow of of your article or post. If you do this in Microsoft Word, copy and paste to text file to remove all M-Soft Word formatting.
Make sure your content is for the readers benefit and not a search engine! Keep densities of your keywords at 3-4%, don’t stuff your keywords or search terms! Usually, you want to keep content between 500 and 800 words max. Provide a link or two to a quality resource related to your topic. Make sure the place you link to is a credible website or an authority site. If you use bold text try and keep your density low and don’t over do it!
The final part is to publish your post and build only one link (important for next step, too many links will affect your score). Then after a week or two goes by use MozRank tool to see your score. If you have a score above 3.2 you are ready to build more links. If you are below 3.2 then you should tweak your content. Your goal should be in the high 3′s to a score of 4 when all work is completed.
The best parts of this approach is it’s very simple, less time consuming and allows you to create other fresh content while waiting to see your score for your last post. You will be rewarded for fresh content and increase your website size, giving you more opportunities to rank higher!
