Yahoo’s site explorer has always been a better source for information on website links. Recently I noticed that things are starting to change with Yahoo Site Explorer. It left me wondering if they might change the system? Maybe a potential partner, Bing or even Google working on algorithm? Who knows with the last few test. I am referring to Yahoo using Google’s search technologies for paid search. I hope that Yahoo and Bing combine but to really compete they are going need more than a search engine, tools, apps, all the cool stuff Google offers.
That does not appear to be the case. It was my tools being blocked and showing incorrect data. Search engines often do this when queries from seo’s cause a strain to the old system. I upgraded to the new FireFox today, updated plug-ins and SEO Quake. Everything is working again except the Yahoo index show zero but manual search shows over ten pages or 100 plus pages.
The links and link to domains show close to the same numbers but are a bit lower, somethings changed? We will see what happens over the next few weeks and write a new post on our discoveries.
