Search Marketing Services
Here is how you setup up a (PPC) pay per click or paid listing. The reason we post this is people always confuse paid search marketing with natural. Then they want to try paid search, until they see the cost. I will use Adwords, since that is the one I have managed the most. Here is how it works.
Just create your new ad
You can create ads using keywords which are related to your business. Use the Google Keyword Tool to get keyword ideas for your website. Once you have your keywords, ads and bids set you publish. When people search on Google using one of your search terms your ad will appear next to the search results or above the natural. Now you’re all set advertising with pay per clicks.
You are now visible in Google’s search engine.
People can find you now by clicking your ad to make a purchase or learn more about your company. Google says “You don’t even need a web page to get started”. I disagree and be ready to pay for those visitors. So I think you need to present the best possible image you can. A full site with a good search marketing massage!
You can reach even more people through Google’s content network.
Google’s content network has of a half million websites, news pages, and blogs that partner with them to display AdWords ads. You can choose from a text ad, image ads or video format to promote your business.
Target the right users.
Using your top performing keywords, Google’s contextual targeting technology can match your ads to web pages in the content network that are the most relevant to your product and services. If you want more control, you can use placement targeting to pick specific web sites or sections of websites you want your new ads to appear on.
Measure and optimize your ads and results.
With the use of Google Analytics and the Placement Performance Report, you have visibility into where all your ads appear and are performing. You can review your ad clicks, ad costs, conversion data and more. Use this data to identify top performing websites, keywords and for targeting the right websites to spend your marketing dollars.
I believe there is still no minimum spending requirement for Ad Words? I also think the the minimum pay per click is 10 cents. You set the budget, how, when and where you would like to display your ads. Minimum cost of ten cents for each click pay per click keyword bid. When set budget runs out ad stops.
